A footpath runs to the coast at Bucks Mills approximately 1 mile away where it links up with the South West Coastal Path. The entrance to Steart is signed clearly off the A39, and local bus services are available to other points on the coast which enable walkers to cover specific segments of the coastal path without having to retrace their steps.
